It has happened to me using my iPhone when I hit “Create Post” and nothing happens immediately, and I hit it again a few seconds later. If the interval is more than 5 seconds, it results in a double post. Invariably, the cause for the delay for me was the result of my being in a low signal strength area at the time.
Fret not, no one cares about accidental double posts.

If they had played anybody, they would have a shot, but being 7-0 with the 99th toughest schedule isn't going to turn many heads.
Nope....its a Cartel event only, Seriously : Take a look at BAMA's N/C schedule : (one single so called P5 very weak opponent) Florida St. Fresno St. Colorado St. Mercer and UCF's N/C schedule : ( twice as many P5 opponents) FIU Georgia Tech Maryland Maine Bad example, Bama's schedule is still harder, based on the teams listed.
FSU 31, Fresno 62, ColoSt 70, Mercer 133 = Average rating 74
FIU 128, GT 21, Md 63, Maine 155 = Average rating 92
UCF's OOC average team rating is 25% worse than Bama's.

What does that even mean "relative to its schedule"?
Incorporating MOV into the methodology, in appropriate balance with SOS. Assume that Alabama would be projected to defeat a weak team by 30 points, and UCF actually defeats that same team by 30 points. Under the current system, UCF would not be credited for its decisive win, and would be punished for playing a weak opponent. Alabama would be similarly punished for playing the same weak team.
UCF is free to become an independent and schedule Bama, Clemson, OK, tOSU, ND, PSU, WIS, UGA, VT, MIA, TCU and USC for its 12 games.
They would easily have the best SOS, but on the flip side, the MOV would likely be negative.

LOL very true.. EVERY team has to strike a delicate balance, which is almost impossible: A Schedule HARD enough to be respected, but, EASY enough that we can WIN!

Teams only have control of out of conference opponents on their schedules, which are scheduled years in advance.
A team that contracted with FSU in 2012 to play in 2017 would have expected to be facing a team that would strengthen its schedule significantly. When Clemson and Marshall agreed to play in 1999, I doubt if anyone expected the Tigers to be the underdog at home vs. the Herd.
You never know.

Clemson TE Milan Richard caught his first TD pass Saturday night, with his uncle watching in attendance.
His uncle is a pretty good running back who played for Georgia.
Herschel visited the Clemson locker room before the game and they said Swinney was like a kid in a candy shop.

I would expect G5 teams to schedule HARDER in their OOC. They have to, if they want respect when it comes time for post-season. It's the ONLY way they can get their SOS in the top half.

Here's the doomsday scenario....
Alabama or Georgia win SEC undefeated with the other only losing in the championship.
ND wins out.
Oklahoma wins out.
Clemson wins out.
Ohio State wins out.
Washington wins out.
Penn State wins out.
In this scenario the SEC champ is in. If Georgia loses, they have a win over ND which should give them the edge. Oklahoma has a win over Ohio State which should give them an edge. Clemson probably has the worst loss although Washington looked horrible against ASU which got trounced by USC. Penn State wouldn't have a conference championship but neither did Ohio State last year. Ohio State would most likely have 2 top 5 wins which no one else could boast. In terms of ranking best wins I think it goes like this....
Oklahoma over Ohio State Ohio State over Penn State Georgia over ND
Finally, I'll add this...there's no doubt in my mind that Alabama is easily one of the top 4 teams in the country - no question. But if you're going to justify teams by 'who they've played', they shouldn't be #1 - FSU is not who we thought they were, A+M has 3 losses and Mississippi State has been blown out a couple times. Is anyone who they've played ranked at this point? I know the do get LSU this week but they really haven't played a great team but to their credit - they have dismantled every opponent. Just an observation...

Team FBS Wins Wins in T50 Losses Top 50 Loss? Top 25 Loss?
Clem 7 6 1 Yes No
PSU 7 4 1 Yes Yes
GA 7 3 0 N/A N/A
Bama 7 2 0 N/A N/A
ND 7 4 1 Yes Yes
Clemson has the worst loss, while it's a t50 loss, it's not to a team in the T25, as is the case with PSU and ND.
OTOH, Clemson has 50-% more wins in the T50 than either of the next highest teams.
UGA and Bama have no losses, Bama has the fewest wins in the T50 of any of the group.
