I don't have to prove that it was Putin. The FBI has concluded that it was the Russian government. So has DHS. So has the DNI. So have the intelligence agencies. That is more than good enough for me. I don't, won't and shouldn't have access to the classified information to which Donald Trump will soon be privy. Neither do or should you or Hero, and neither do or should the loony web sites you frequent. Just curious, what do you and Hero think Trump should do regarding the sanctions, which are scheduled to expire soon, that were placed on Russia for invading and illegally annexing Crimea, and for invading eastern Ukraine? You might recall that Trump's choice for Secretary of State fought hard in a losing cause to get the sanctions lifted. Is that the same FBI who did the white wash of your girl? After I saw that, I came to realize I might get more truth from a Mad Magazine.

More fake news.
This is getting so blatantly ridiculous as to be comical. The U.S. is using every kind of deceitful pretext to villainize Russia before Trump takes over.
Here's the real story: The Burlington Electric Department ran a virus scan on their computers. In the process, they "detected the malware in a single Burlington Electric Department laptop not connected to our organization’s grid systems."
I wonder what porn site the laptop owner was surfing when he got the commodity malware?
Burlington Electric Department is the municipally-owned electric utility of Burlington, Vermont. Its miniscule generating capacity is about 50 MW, split evenly between a single wood-fired generator and a gas-turbine generator plus a tiny hydro generator and a dash of solar and wind capacity.
If the Russians are targeting the US utility system, and their only success is an unconnected laptop of some internet-surfing city employee of the Electric Department of Burlington, Vermont, they really aren't much of a threat.
Geez....Dems are grasping at straws....50%+ of Dems believe that Russian hacking means adjusting the vote count.
Even our local NPR news this morning made it very clear the laptop was nothing to do with the grid. This level of hysteria is simply amazing...
Can't you read?? The article is about the Russians hacking a company laptop! Even the headline says exactly that. The evidence is totally consistent with the FBI-DHS report that it was the Russians who had hacked the computer. That is significant news. Nothing fake about it. You will remain hopeless until you are able to think on your own, instead of parroting the radical right web sites upon which you depend so heavily. Stop with the fake news. www.politico.com/story/2016/12/vermont-power-grid-hackers-233091

How idiotic. Talk about a red herring.
There never was an allegation that Russian hackers had infected the Vermont power grid.
The story was about a single company laptop.

You and tigercpa "disproved" the non-existent allegation that the Russians had infected Vermont's electrical grid.
Now, that is funny.

There never was an allegation that Russian hackers had infected the Vermont power grid. Then why does the Washington Post On-line story now run this disclaimer? "Editor’s Note: An earlier version of this story incorrectly said that Russian hackers had penetrated the U.S. electric grid. Authorities say there is no indication of that so far. The computer at Burlington Electric that was hacked was not attached to the grid."

Ho hum.
Everyone knows that a single laptop was potentially compromised. The article was accurate.
The two of you are going to absurd lengths to protect the Russian government. Bevo is going to absurd lengths to diminish the significance of the Russian government directing the computer hackings.
All because your guy was the beneficiary of the Russian hackings?
There was a time when conservatives, Republican officials and Republican supporters could be counted upon to be stalwart in defending against Russian efforts to undermine democracies. Now, some conservatives, Republican officials and Republican supporters are tolerant, almost supportive, of the Russian government interfering with the U.S. election.
The world has gone topsy-turvy since Donald Trump's infatuation with Vladimir Putin became evident.

We are not protecting the Russian government. Putin is not our friend, but he doesn't have to be our enemy.
Russia didn't hack anybody...even DHS, DNI and FBI don't really know. They even said nothing in their "report" should be seen as credible, because they can't prove anything.

They even said nothing in their "report" should be seen as credible, because they can't prove anything Well, the report did admit, at the very beginning, that....sometimes, accomplished hackers are able to leave "fake" tracers that point investigators to the wrong source. I thought that was some interesting language,
