1. Who is "our publications"? Source? In any event, Russia was not and never possibly could have been the source of the leaks. Not the Russian government and not any State actor. Life doesn't work that way. The leaks were at least one step removed, and probably several steps removed, from the Russian government. That is very different from the fact that the Russian government directed the hackings by Russian military intelligence and Russian companies that resulted in the stealing the information and documents that were leaked, and Russia's interfering in the U.S. election. 2. What interview? And, who really cares what Hillary said? 3. "Greatest diplomatic escalation between the U.S. and Russia in decades?" Good grief. Greater than Russia's large-scale land, sea an air invasion of Georgia in 2008, following which Russian troops continue to illegally occupy the Abkhazia and South Ossetia regions of Georgia? Greater than Russia's 2014 invasion and subsequent illegal annexation of Crimea? Utter nonsense. The most recent "diplomatic escalation between the U.S. and Russia was caused by the Russian government directing the hackings. The "punitive" actions Obama took were woefully inadequate. "our publications" - Assange is referring to the emails they published, hence "our publications"

It is clear that Russia did not hack into Vermont's electrical grid system. However, that does not mean that the Russian government isn't actively engaged in efforts to co-opt infrastructures in the U.S. and other countries. In case you missed it, last week DHS declassified information that Russia has successfully compromised infrastructures in at least 60 countries, including: U.S. 47 times China 45 times Netherlands 20 times Germany 14 times France 12 times and multiple incursions, but fewer then 10, in Canada, Mexico, India, Iraq, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Ukraine, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Slovakia, UK, Spain, Italy, Austria, Poland and Ghana. Senate Homeland Security subcommittee chairman, Republican Ron Johnson, takes these Russian cyber threats seriously and believes that the Russians have planted malware in infrastructure systems throughout the world. It remains to be seen whether Trump will attempt to subvert any Senate investigations. Figure 3 is the map of declassified worldwide infrastructure co-opted by Russian intelligence services: www.dhs.gov/news/2016/12/30/executive-summary-grizzly-steppe-findings-homeland-security-assistant-secretary

McConnell tells McCain and Graham (pictured below, listening to all that hacking) to "knock off" the Russian conspiracy nonsense.
Those two warhawks would love to start WWIII.

Assange said that the Russian government wasn't the source of the leaks, and Sean Hannity was orgasmic with joy.
Who, other than someone totally in the tank for Trump, would ever consider the possibility that the Russian government, or any State actor, would be so stupid as to directly furnish Wikileaks with the stolen information and documents?

The Intelligence Committee should take it directly to an "International Tribunal"? OMG -- did you really just say that? I can't wait for Hero and Bevo to come to your defense on that one! This could be delicious...

Trump said in a recent Tweet that North Korea would never develop an intercontinental missile, capable of carrying a nuclear warhead, that could reach the continental United States.
I fully agree that preventing this capability must be a top priority objective of the U.S. government.
Now that Trump has thrown down the gauntlet, what options does he have to deter the North Koreans from achieving their goal of developing nuclear-tipped missiles that are capable of striking the west coast of the continental U.S.?
The last policy question I asked, concerning the coming expiration of the sanctions on Russia for invading and illegally annexing Crimea, was answered with chirping crickets...

Could Donald Trump possibly be as stupid as some of his lemmings? "Mr Assange said Russia was not the source for the site's mass leak of emails from the Democratic Party. Mr Trump has now backed that view in a tweet. He wrote: "Assange... said Russians did not give him the info!" The president-elect has repeatedly refused to accept the conclusions of the US intelligence community." www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-38505398

FBI Release on Russian Hacking Claims
CIA Director John Brennan Interview
Understand the Intelligence Gang of Eight
John Brennan and James Clapper Refuse to Brief Congress
Intel Sources for NYT and WaPo Under Under Investigation
I believe Assange over Obama.
Trump has white hats working with him.

Questions for tigercpa (Hero and Bevo are welcome to assist):
1. How would the Intelligence Committee press charges before an international tribunal?
2. Which international tribunal? Den Haag? The International Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia? Nuremberg?
3. What should Trump do regarding the impending expiration of the sanctions on Russia for invading and illegally annexing Crimea? Allow the sanctions to expire? Lead the effort to renew the sanctions? Congratulate Putin for a job well done?
4. What options should Trump consider to prevent North Korea from completing the development of a nuclear-tipped ICBM capable of striking the U.S. mainland?

They don’t care what Assange says. The argument is now that Russian agents gave the material to the people that gave it to Assange. So now the DNC had employees working as Russian moles. Oh what a tangled web we weave…
The spin gets better and better.
