This is what I supported for years too. Only thing I would do different is have the 2nd round at the higher seed. Prefer the semifinals on campus to, but can discuss that one.

Why should a 2 loss Big 10 team be guaranteed a spot in the playoff over a one loss Louisville or Washington? And Hen, that is the perfect playoff you posted. 16 teams, with the 10 conference champs, with the early games at the stadium of the higher seeded team until the championship game.

Okay, let's say that Ohio State, at #2, does get in. What guarantees a 2 loss Big 10 champ gets in over a 1 loss Washington (Pac 12 champ) or 1 loss Louisville? A 2 loss Oklahoma (Big 12 champ) would be in contention then or WVU? Chaos reigns

Except, if Ohio State beats Michigan and Penn State wins out, the Nittany Lions are in the Big 10 championship game. Ohio State is sitting there, with no division or conference title, and they get in? Over other conference champs?

As for a 3rd party, as it stands now, it would be tough because there is no powerful or growing 3rd party. But in 1968, a 3rd party did garner electoral votes and in the 1860 election, there were 5 major parties at the time. And the GOP was just a 3rd party. It can happen.

The electoral college was set up to protect, and give voice to, the smaller states of the union. The founding fathers feared a "dictatorship" of the majority. And it does work. Look at the number of small toss up states this election. I like the EC, because we are a federal republic, and everything is based on states. Now I am not a fan of the winner take all system, prefer the Congressional District majority system, used now by Nebraska and Maine. Better reflects the wishes of the voters

Kicking game was the difference. The kicker looks good and a freshman. I believe he'll get better. And, except for the punt fumble, could not recover any other fumbles by the Vols, especially that one in the end zone. The breaks of the game. But the Mountaineers looked good. May have to book my room in New Orleans for the bowl game there. The first one, not the Sugar.

We are a good team. Lots of experience on the team. A real good running back and linebacker and a good QB Face ODU next week, then the U in Boone.

Here is the thing that is strange about the Comey statement. The FBI didn't interview her until this past weekend, and come out with the statement on Tuesday? Not even time to digest the information

We'll have to wait and see if the economic doom and gloom happens like predicted by those in favor of the EU. That is all I heard leading up to the vote and all the supporters would say to favor staying. No other reason on why it was good
