Are you losing it? ... That is just plain nuts. Twisted. What? You mean like, "borderline insane"? Wow... I can't believe you would stoop to such a low level. Shocked, I tell you! The was a wide range of issues that I didn't address in that observation. A multitude. And, for some bizarre reason, you expect me to conjure up the one that is pushing your hot button at the moment? There were a couple, for sure. You didn't really address any of them. You said Sessions gave a "woeful explanation". I gave you the benefit of the doubt by assuming you posted that after seeing only his FIRST explanation. On taped replays, I saw him explain his decision several times. Most of those were not "woeful", but were quite logical. They are also quite normal in such hearings. That hearing was 99% theater: Sound and fury signifying nothing. Aides to a President, especially an Attorney General, have a right to secure deliberations with a President. Congress people know this. Those Democrat questioners had NO PROBLEM with Eric Holder was exercising the same privilege. I think, they simply want to FORCES Trump to say "Executive Privilege"... just so they can keep saying, 'SEE, SEE!! It's just like Watergate!!" There is zero civility on Capital Hill anymore... precious little on college football boards.

Did Mueller give Comey immunity? I've seen rumors of this... surely not. But, it wouldn't surprise me.

Give this a week to sink in. Sessions' testimony is rock solid. Only a couple places where it reads like perhaps he and his face-off were briefly talking past each other. Otherwise, without cherry picking, his testimony was substantive, clear and compelling. When he got pushback, he rebutted, and won.
He's the kind of fellow who closes the loop. I will not be surprised if he calls the bluff on the "stonewalling" claim, by getting certain conversations with Trump cleared, and providing answers to those in a letter to the Committee, published on DoJ webpage.

Agreed, borderline kabuki theater and funding raising opportunities for the Dems for "fighting Trumps agenda".
Avoid all of the shiny objects which only serve as a distraction, after all of this nonsense, e are still left with the only crimes being the (likely) contrived / illegal surveillance, and the illegal unmasking of US citizens.
There is now clear and increasing evidence that Comey was the major leaker in this process. His "queasy" remarks about Lynch are nothing more than an a feeble attempt to restore his credibility and standing. This is also why people are speculating that Comey was given immunity...no way counsel lets his star witness testify / make such admissions otherwise.
I think President Trump’s tweets are very important - he seems to have been hinting for months that they found something in the FBI.

Breaking news:
Rep. Scalise and others shot this morning at GOP baseball practice.
Gunman has been shot by Capitol Police.
House Majority Whip Steve Scalise was shot and multiple congressional aides were also hit by a gunman with a rifle who opened fire at a GOP baseball practice in Virginia Wednesday morning, Fox News confirmed.
Scalise was in stable condition. Five people were "transported medically" from the scene, Alexandria Police Chief Michael Brown said; however, it was unclear how many people had been shot.
The gunman was shot by U.S. Capitol Police, apprehended and taken to the hospital, officials said. Sen. Mike Lee told Fox News, however, the gunman was killed. The incident occurred at Simpson Field in Alexandria, about 10 miles from Washington D.C.

Good read, as you say - just another reference point.

Why didn't he simply say that he was following the precedent set by Eric Holder and other previous Attorneys General? Sessions simply wasn't prepared for the obvious question. Now, you are the one who is not responsive. You said: "You can't tell what issue you dodged? And, you want ME to spell it out for you?" There were thousands of issues I didn't address, but I didn't dodge any of them. I can't read your mind. I can't begin to guess what issue, of the countless possibilities, I supposedly "dodged". I asked, and you still won't tell me.

Minor point is an overstatement. More like grasping at straws.

That is what we should come to expect from a supporter of a Senator who is a leader in defending the Second Amendment. And, all the more reason strict gun laws need be enacted in D.C.

Couldn't be worse than David Frum:
Do anti-gunners ever do any research?
