Notre Dame at 11-1 is in, regardless of conference title games. Collectively other than Clemson they've played about as good a schedule as anyone. Oklahoma even with only one loss will get left out over Notre dame

Heck guys it would not surprise me, if Wisconsin is undefeated and Notre Dame got in over them..... but Notre Dame schedule, the way they've played against that schedule, if they continue to dominate they're in. Notre Dame isn't THU it's arguably the biggest brand name in the sport, so all things considered I absolutely, unequivocally do not see an 11-1 Notre Dame team being passed up. Oklahoma or TCU may have to win the Big 12 title 59-0 for thier even to be talks about it I'd they both finish undefeated IMO

If Wisconsin, Miami, and UGA/Bama all finish undefeated, Notre Dame is in trouble.
Either Clemson, or the 1-loss UGA/Bama loser would be in over them.
NO 13-0 P5 champ will be left out.

If Miami is undefeated, they end the debate on Notre Dame, because that means they will have won this weekend. That said, that said however if they go into Miami and beat the Hurricanes and Miami wins the ACC, that ends the debate as well. Notre Dame gets in over Miami, even if the Hurricanes finish 12-1 and win the ACC title based on head to head results

I'm also gonna make a prediction, if Notre Dame goes 11-1 something major will happen, if they do by some chance miss the playoff they will begin discussions to join the ACC. If Notre Dame makes the playoffs they will steal another conference's bid and get the discussion rolling more on expanding the Playoff to 6 or 8 teams. 8 in my opinion would be ideal, because you could get the 5 conference champs and 3-at large bids

If it does happen that way is argue for the Irish, and I'm not even a Notre Dame fan....what would be the point of having a head to head component if for the second straight year you aren't going to enforce it?

If it came down to Alabama 13-0, Georgia 12-1, Clemson 12-1, Oklahoma/TCU 12-1 and Notre Dame 11-1; Notre Dame will be out and justifiably so. Playing a 13th game and winning your conference should count for something. If Georgia is 12-1 and Notre Dame is 11-1 Georgia has to get in by virtue of their win at ND.

I disagree, the committee showed last year it was willing to take an at large over a conference champion. Unless Oklahoma destroys whomever they play in the conference championship I don't think they would jump ND. We'll see if things okay out that way, but the committee set a precedent last year it was willing to take an at large over a conference champion. * Personally I think TCU and Oklahoma are going to make this a moot point as I think they are going to split anyway

But last year Penn State had 2 losses. If Oklahoma wins out they'll have 2 wins over TCU, OkSt, Ohio State and will have to beat one team twice plus they'll be a conference champ. Oklahoma will also most likely have the Heisman winner. I hope they all win out, I want it to be a cluster!

Playoff for a mythical national championship of nothing. Only to you, man... and, maybe Hen. To the teams that are out there sweating blood, it means plenty.
