I feel pretty confident that OSU is going to be in regardless of what happens on Saturday. I'm not saying I would agree or be rooting for it to happen, that's just how it's going to go. If either of you all want to bet on it let me know! Lol!! Bet on something as illogical as the CFP? No thanks... If you just want to bet, I'll take PSU and the points... name your price.

Sure they're in. ESPN and its puppet committee are already scheming how to seed the Invitational so that it gets a Meyer-Saban game.
No, I can't prove this, just smell it.

Who else ? Hope I'm dead wrong.

Who else ? Hope I'm dead wrong. Just like on this board, there seem to be differing opinions on the topic which is understandable. I see nothing that would lead me to believe that ESPN is actually going to make the committee chose one team over another.

I agree, GG, just skeptical speculation....no proof of any collusion of ESPN and the Dr. Pepper committee. But, do you detect even a very faint odor in the air ? Maybe some day, some insider, will write a book about what really happened behind the scenes in this system.

If Clemson wins, but not convincingly, Clemson will "fall" to #4 and get Bama in Hotlanta.
They want a Meyer / Saban game.

There is no chance of Washington passing Clemson if Clemson wins. SOS is too divergent.
Bama, tOSU, and Washington are in. Bama and tOSU are the 1 and 2 seeds, order depending on the results of the SEC CCG.
If Clemson wins, they are in as the #3 seed. If they lose, the committee has a tough decision on whether to put in Michigan or the Big Ten champion. I think they will go with the champion, especially if it is Wisconsin. They would also have to decide whether the Washington or the Big Ten team is the #3 seed and who gets the 4 seed.

(unless it involves Texas, of course). Michigan does not deserve to be ANYWHERE in this discussion. If Clemson wins, the only choice remaining is: Ohio State, or the B1G Champ. If it's PSU, they should be in. If it's Wisc? I expect OSU would get in.

Why? A one point loss at Iowa, a double overtime loss on a controversial call at Ohio State and wins against Penn State, Wisconsin, and Colorado. If the controversial call on that 4th down play had went the other way (the video evidence couldn't overturn the call either way), they would be at #2 and in the Big Ten CCG. No other 2-loss team has a resume that is even close.

With two losses and no chance at a conference title (a.k.a. the only team in the top 10 who owns both of those unenviable credentials), I just don’t see a situation where Kirby Hocutt could stand up there and tell us they have decided Michigan is worthy of a Playoff spot. Although nothing is impossible.
As far as tOSU goes, it wouldn’t be the first time the committee dropped a team three spots in the final poll (They moved TCU from No. 3 to No. 6 in the last poll of 2014). And that was a team that won 55-3 that week.
We are talking about an Ohio State team that doesn’t play this week at all.
Does anyone want to be the guy that tells the folks in Happy Valley sorry, we know you won your division, have the H2H win, and you won your conference, but you didn't make it?

Well, the four-team CFP has only been around two years. Alabama made the two-team playoff as a "non-champ" in 2011 in a rematch with SEC Champion LSU. Notre Dame did the same thing in 2012 when they played SEC Champion Alabama.
