Bullshit. If they win every game 45-0, they would 100% be invited. Name all the non cartel teams in the 19 year history of the BCS/CFP mythical champ systems that have been allowed to compete for one of these titles ? Now 45-0 for every game might be an exaggeration but you know what I mean. The Dr.Pepper Invitational championship is absolutely not for the entire FBS......TV brand Cartel teams only. Faulty logic

The Committee is considering several rule changes this year, including a one-year prohibition for any conference that fails to score in a CFP game 3 years in a row. H-m-m-m-m-m, sounds like a dig to me!
Fortunately Ohio State scored 84 points the first year of the playoffs so I guess this year will be crucial .

Not sure why, but the circus of March Madness draws us in every year. I don't like the format where #37, who was just average during the regular season, has a chance to be the "best" team - if you want a shot, be better than #37. It's a swap of entertainment versus "fairness". The NHL playoffs are good, as is college baseball. The NBA has morphed into a waiting process to see which superteam plays LeBron. Generally good at getting to the best team,,but a bit of a journey. The NFL system allows enough underserving teams in to allow for one team to get hot during the playoffs (see the 2012 Giants at 9-7). MLB has that silly wild-card game that goes against the rest of their post-season format. But college football - many teams can make it, but only the very good teams get in. This year, I would say: Tier 1: Alabama tOSU Tier 2: FSU Clemson (could also be in the bubble tier, depends on getting some competent QB play) PSU USC On the Bubble: OK OKST Wash Mich In Vegas terms, i'd place 90% on any of the above and 10% on the remaining field. BIG - Michigan has a lot of losses but then again that got a coach who can deal with it. They need to get over the tOSU hump and they are loaded this year. Wiscy has a favorable schedule and I would consider them for the bubble. Agreed. Michigan lost almost their entire D... Wisconsin is tricky though

Name all the non-cartels that went undefeated, winning 45-0 and were left out? Truly faulty logic can work both ways. Sorrry Hen, I just don't buy your theory. I think EVERY team has a shot. Some need more help than others. But, winning ALL your games gives any team a decent shot, especially if their schedule has at least ONE decent P5 team.

Did the Easter Bunny bring you anything, Bevo ?... and don't forget to leave a tooth under the pillow for the Tooth Fairy and cookies for Santa. I would nominate "Every Team Has A shot" ( for the Dr. Pepper NC) for the DOY Hall Of Fame, joining : Zoombag's 50 posts that 'Nebraska will never, never, ever, ever leave the B12 for a better offer...cause I have inside sources' and " B90's " There is no such thing as home field advantage in football " Furthermore, Bevo, save this : I will immediately send you $1500 if and when a so called 'G5' team from a so called 'G5' conference is voted directly into a semi-final game for the Dr.Pepper Invitational championship. My word is good.

Perhaps but your logic remains faulty. My logic is' seeing is believing'. Anybody can offer words. The two class system was designed to prevent opportunity. There is no such thing as an NCAA G5 division or an NCAA P5 division. Those monikers were strictly made up by the cartel and its media outlets for greedy self serving post season purposes. I need proof to change my mind.

No... those monikers were applied by the PRESS, who could see the very clear, and OBVIOUS monetary divide that exists between the two groups. Surely, you can see the difference?
